While the house does sit on a large lot, I must ask for guests to remain in the lawned area surrounding the house. The neighborhood is called Oakview in Northwest Gainesville, and it is only 1.3 miles from both the University of Florida campus and Downtown Gainesville. The neighborhood is suburban, slightly Bohemian, and full of vintage and historic homes. As its namesake suggests, the neighborhood is known for its dense canopy of old-growth Laurel and Live Oaks. You will have your own private parking area, and given this apartment's proximity to the University of Florida campus and Downtown Gainesville, it is easy to cycle just about anywhere.

The unit is a modern 2 bedroom downstairs condo approximately 900 sq. ft. Bedroom 1 features a queen bed with deep dresser drawers beneath it; this bedroom also has a desk chair and a coffee table that extends to a desk. Bedroom 2 features a Serta double bed with a 50” FireTV, a chair, and dresser.  Both rooms feature sliding doors for more room as well as walk-in closets. In the bathroom the shower has a curved rod which is perfect for extra room; it also has an automatic soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser. There is a vanity, a sink, a dehumidifier, a triple hook hanger on the door, and the toilet has a no slam seat. Hand soap and cleaning supplies are also provided. The kitchen has a bar that seats two and a microwave; the bar also has 2 USB charge ports. The refrigerator has filtered water and ice. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silver ware, crockpot, coffee bean grinder, espresso machine, regular coffee maker, keurig coffee maker, ninja blender, and a garbage disposer. The living room has an end table that turns into a large table for 4 (there is also a short oriental table located in bedroom 1 closet). The couch is an L shaped storage Ikea couch that turns into a king size bed. The pull out can also be used as a toddler/kids bed. There is a 55" Fire TV, Wifi router, Sony DVD/Video Player, Bahamian conch shells, a book shelf, Himalayan salt lamp, recliner massage chair, and USB charge ports.  In the living room closet there is a queen air mattress and washer, while the dryers is located in bedroom 2. A printer is also located in the unit. Throughout the condo are light dimmers. The unit has just been completely refurbished and offers a private bedroom, bathroom, guest entrance, A/C and parking. There is tile flooring throughout the unit, a queen-sized bed, tea and coffee-making facilities, a mini fridge and a television with access to apple tv (Netflix, Hulu, and HBOGO are provided). The unit is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood and is within easy access to local grocery stores, pharmacies and other amenities. This apartment is adjacent to the home I live in. There is a door in the hallway of the apartment that connects my home to the apartment, and this door remains locked. My interaction with you will be limited so as to ensure your privacy, but I am available to provide you with any assistance you may need. As a Gainesville resident, I can serve as a resource and answer any questions or concerns you may have. You have control of your own A/C system, but I must request guests to maintain the temperature between 76 and 78 degrees. Some guests from out of state may not be familiar with what indoor temperatures in Florida should be set to. Not only is setting the A/C below room temperature incredibly energy intensive, but it also runs the risk of freezing and subsequently breaking the A/C.

A large picture window gives you a view of parkway/green space. The condo sleeps two comfortably the bedroom and another on the sofa. PREMISES: There are two pools with spacious decks and sun bathing chairs. Further there are two laundry facilities with large washers and dryers. There is night lighting in hallways and on grounds.
